This site is dedicated to the development of Urban CSA’s in every neighborhood of Seattle.
An Urban CSA is essentially a Market Garden or a community plot of land that grows food for its members. It’s not a P-Patch and it’s not a farm. It can be developed cooperatively, with members participating in the planting, caring and harvesting or it can be a private enterprise that distributes weekly food boxes to members who purchase shares.
Feel free to add us to your RSS feed reader. We’ll be updating our work as we go along. Eventually we hope to offer consultation, planning and resources (equipment and eventually grants) to interested groups forming new CSA’s in their own and their neighbors yards.
Who are you and how can I get more information on your project? I am planning a similar project in Wallingford and would like discuss your project with you. Thanks.
